New Zealands biggest city (about 1.5 million people)
Going to Auckland (with my friends) was something I always wanted to do since I'm in New Zealand, so we went there (a few weeks ago already) just to go shopping and to do a bit of sightseeing.
Even tho the center of Auckland wasn't really pretty, we found some nice places (including a German bakery) which made our even better!
So if you're ever going to Auckland, you should definitely visit the Sky tower (we didn't go up but had a look inside the casino and ate dinner there), beaches (of course, I mean who doesn't like beaches) but my special tip is Ponsonby Road. Idk why I like this street so much, because of the many vintage/thrifting shops, the nice buildings or it was just because of the nice weather mixed with all of these cute little restaurants? Maybe it was just the vibes we all had, walking through this street, but my opinion is that it's definitely worth it, to walk trough it.
Btw we went to Auckland by bus (fun fact: it takes about 5 hours by bus to get from Kerikeri to Auckland) and stayed in a hostfamily there (our school told us about them) for the one night we were there.
Another really short entry but what should I say? I wanted to tell you about my trip but I guess I don't have to list every shop we went to here. I didn't want to make it boring so I kept it short :)
